The two types of glazing are not interchangeable.
Some of the more popular glazing brands are made from double glazing, while others use glazing made from a single layer of the same type of glass.
But both types are very similar.
They both offer double glazes with a thin layer of glass, which provides a glossy surface, but they are also both made from the same material, usually polycrystalline silicon.
Glazing materials are a common element in Australian glassmaking.
They are also used in a range of other Australian products, including: aero-cemented glass (eg, anhydrous aluminium)
